Celebrating Black Philanthropy Month with George Suttles

As we enter the third week of August, we also want to take a moment to highlight prominent Black philanthropists, investors, and activists from a variety of organizations in the philanthropic sector. We spoke with George Suttles, the Director of Research at the Commonfund Institute. In his role as Director of Research, George supports Commonfund’s educational, market research, and professional development activities. He also serves as a member of the Commonfund Diversity and Inclusion Office. Throughout his career, George has supported the philanthropic activities of leading nonprofits with a focus on healthcare and related missions.
