Black America Summit (BAS) is a medium and safe space for the Black community.
The Black America Summit's mission is designed to unite, educate, strategize and inspire Black communities and their allies by connecting them through STEAM. BAS’ programs help people to engage, learn and to mobilize around tangible actions.
Hosted in summer 2020, the original 4-week Summit answered the need to unite communities around the impacts of COVID and next steps. In less than two months, Gabrielle ‘Rielle’ Jones developed the structure of the Summit, recruited and managed 30 volunteers, and held 20 unique panels with 60 leaders. The resounding enthusiasm of the first Summit has inspired BAS to continue developing interactive educational experiences and expanding their community across mediums.
Currently: BAS produces the Black America Podcast hosted by Rielle Jones, Ace Manning, and E.A. in the form of an explorational book club.
